Health Equipment Loan Programs
Sometimes help means more than lending a hand. For more than 50 years the Canadian Red Cross has been offering Health Equipment Loan Programs (HELP) to provide much-needed health equipment to thousands of Canadians, empowering them to live full and independent lives. These programs vary across the country according to types of health and medical equipment provided, length of loan, access procedures and type of service.
Youth are an important part of the HELP team. It is an almost entirely volunteer run service where many youth dedicate countless hours towards helping run HELP depots, and this essential service would not be possible without them. It’s an important and rewarding way to give back to their communities!
